Customs, duties and taxes for orders outside the EU
If you order directly from us and live outside the EU, your parcel goes through customs in your country. We ship on DAP terms, so import duties and taxes are not included in our price and are paid by you as the importer, usually through the courier before (more common) or at delivery.
All SIMGRADE products are declared under HS code 9504.50 (video game consoles and machines), at their true value. HS stands for Harmonized System and refers to the internationally used system for classifying products for customs purposes. The classification determines customs duties and taxes, which vary by destination country.
AI-tip: You can use AI to quickly estimate the costs. Just enter HS code 9504.50, the order value (e.g. €398.33 for a VX-PRO 2-pedal set or €533.07 for a 3-pedal set), and the destination country -> you should get an estimate of the costs. One benefit of using AI is that the estimate is up-to-date – although changes (to duties and in general) within sim racing category are relatively rare. NOTE: Like with any question or prompt, AI can make mistakes. We can’t guarantee that the answer/estimate received is correct. Your courier or local customs authority can confirm the final amount if required.
For example, when checking for a VX-PRO 2-pedal set, you could ask AI:
“Can you estimate the customs duties and taxes for importing a sim racing pedal set from Finland to [your country and state/province] based on the following details: HS code 9504.50, product value €398.33?”
