    First impression:
The first impression of these pedals is fantastic. Easy to setup up and adjust overall. I love that there are different stiffness options for the throttle and brake and it only takes a moment to change them without tools.

The brake pedal is just perfect at least for me. I got the feeling of it just like I want the brake pedal feel. Very precise and very easy to perform trail braking. Cars are much easier to control under braking at least in ACC and iRacing. Also hopping between those two sims somehow feels a lot easier than before thanks to these pedals.

I was very skeptical about the throttle side support but wow, life hack, it brought some comfort and I love it.

Easily the best pedals I have used so far and I have no reason to change the pedals anymore. It was worth to wait for these pedals.

  2. Flasche84 (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

I found out just before pre-orders started from a friend I utterly trust these pedals were coming, I decided to take a plunge and order these.

After a – let’s be honest – a longer wait then expected, I today received my set. You only get one chance at a first impression, and after installing them on my rig (which is a breeze because everything is so well designed) I got mine. And boy, did that one hit home.

Setting these up are ridiculously easy, finally a piece of kit you don’t need to be a mechanical or software engineer to operate it. I booted up my sim of choice (rF2) and within driving for five minutes I thought: “Someone in Finland must have a picture of me on their desk and thought “I’m gonna make that bloke some pedals””

They feel that natural to drive, all three pedals. The throttle is as delicate as it is straightforward. It’s throw is shorter than I was used to, but again, the feel is so good. The clutch is surprisingly heavy (as in my opinion a clutch should feel) and the bite point feel is an insanely clever find.

But the star of the set is the brake. The feeling on them is so precise and delicate it feels totally natural to drive. I can only assume these were designed and engineered by people who know what real-life performance brakes feel like. Braking at speed with these mean the brakes can be controlled as you’d like.

If some adjustments are needed, this can as easily be done as making set-up adjustments in any sim.

All-in-all I can only make one conclusion. Simgrade haven’t just made new pedals with the VX-PRO set, they made a new yardstick.

It was the first time I bought something from Simgrade and it certainly won’t be the last. The support is good and very friendly and they didn’t make any fuss about answering my questions. They assured me the wait was worth it. They were right. And some

After a long wait I’ve finally got mine. Worth the wait! Included hardware is a nice touch, quality ball-spring tnuts threaded for M6 bolts. Plenty of hardware to mount the pedals to your rig as well as the controller box.

The pedal mount slots/holes are sized for M6 and my existing M8 hardware was too large. Mine will be mounted to an ASR-4 with the aluminum pedal mounts and heel plate.

Throttle has a very controllable travel range, with 3 rough settings for gross pedal resistance and fine resistance set via spring preload and lock nuts.

The brake is a beast, but very smooth. Similar adjustment mechanisms as the throttle, with built-in buckets for gross resistance setting and fine travel adjustment via the die-spring preload.

Pedal faces are nicely machined, smooth and have nicely finished edges with no tangible burrs. Polished finish may need some friction surface applied if you are a barefoot alien.

One small caveat is that the RJ pigtails are rather short from the pedals which will limit your mounting options for the controller box in relation to the pedals. Just something to consider.

These are a great contender in the market for mid to high end LC pedals and should absolutely be measured against the VRS DFP, VNM Sim and Heusinkveld options.

Just got them and still cannot believe that they were $299 at one point. Thanks to Dan for the video review, and to Simgrade for making a great set of pedals. Just did a review of the pedals and you can see what I think here. https://youtu.be/8HaieCVmiq8
My only want is for the software to have a Brake Force controller. Either I am missing it, or it is not in the software. Everything else is top notch and the star of the show is the Brake pedal. OMG I feel so much more consistent it is crazy. It is like this pedal was made for my driving style.
All in all A+, definitely glad I upgraded from the HE Sprints.

  5. Abbasoturi (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Got a tip from friend that these were on pre-orders stage and got mine finally and these are great value for the price. I was looking to buy more expensive ones, but no need anymore. The pedal feeling is great and I have already got quicker on Acc on just few short sessions. I also opted the tilting heel support for both pedals and it needs something to get used to, but i can say that it helps my bad knee, not to get annoyed too much on more techincal tracks thanks to extra support and keeping my leg on optimal angle. The side support is also nice addition to pedal and I will getting a second one for brake pedal also.

  6. Marc (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

got my tripple set. clutch is very stiff as expected, break is the best i´ve used so far with the best trail off performance, and after some changes on the throttle a realy good part. after some rounds on the nordschleife, i can break much later and the ABS didn´t clickt in. simgrade did a really good job on these set

  7. Ralf Bart (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

After a long wait, they have now arrived. What was very positive that the new brake kit was supplied immediately.Besides 2 more spring include 2 pedal arms with other bearing receptacles. This set I have now installed after I have used the standard setup. The blue (soft) spring has come into use. The highest (hardest) bearing position I have chosen. So now you have a travel of about 1.5 cm and a very hard pedal. The standard pedal arms can even be used on the gas pedal, but only in the two upper bearing points which makes the gas pedal then very hard. The workmanship is good industry standard. The material thickness is less than for example Heusinkveld Sprint. All in all, I sort them on about the same level as the Heusinkfeld Sprints. What is problematic is the preload of the spring on the gas pedal. It can only be operated from behind with one finger. Two fingers do not work because there is no space and you can not reach from the front. So the preload is only possible up to a certain point that one finger can handle. The pedal plates are very wide executed what I find good. Sock rides are thus unproblematic. The software is easy to understand and easy to use. It should still be inserted the possibility to adjust the Kg’s. Would I recommend it for purchase? = YES

I didn’t get these on the pre-order price as I was one week late seeing Dan’s video. Nevertheless, I pulled the trigger on the 3 pedal set, coming from a T-LCM, wich is to me a really good pedal, these are just on another level, beautiful craftmanship, everything is tight, easy to setup, pedal plates are massive, not a ridiculous amount of adjustability but probably more then 90% of racers will need and software is easy to use. I thought it would be a long learning curve adjusting to these pedals but within the first hours I was reaching my PR’s, I DID NOT expect this at all! The shipping was incredibly fast, from finland to brazil in just 5 working days, I’m used to buying things from Europe and USA and I’ve never seen a delivery as fast. Props to simgrade, these pedals are amazing, even at the standard price. Keep up the good work!

  9. Afutadaku (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Oh boy what a wait…but finally got them and love them after tweaking them for day or two. I came from csl elite v.1 and these vx pro’s are completely on a different level. Due to two stage breaking I finally exactly know what I’m doing. I was able to set second stage to kick in about 70-80% braking force and I’m definitely more consistent in lap times. Not a big fan of a clutch thinking it will deliver more “wow” effect but brake and throttle are superb. Not feeling throttle has too less travel especially when you can remove front end stop and increase it. My friend was testing them after years of using heusinkveld sprint’s and was confirming that the brake pedal is much better.

  10. Radu (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

I also did not manage to get them at the preorder price, but because of Dan’s review, their compact design and still a good price, I ordered the them (clutch + heel support also). Installing them on my pedal base plate (GT1 EVO sim racing cockpit) was really easy and the fact that I could push them further back is a huge plus for me (compared to the Fanatec V3s I had before).

I’m planning to add motion to my rig so to be able to push them further so that I could position my seat in the center of the rig a little bit more is important (for the motion).

It took me a few minutes to understand the software, but once you do, it makes a lot of sense… so that is something that I really enjoy.

The pedals are amazing, construction is solid. I had a small issue with my throttle and I got in contact with Simgrade and they quickly responded with a solution, so great support. I made both my throttle and brake really stiff and it was easy to do it, I mean… really easy, seconds. The brake is really next level when comparing it to my Fanatec V3s. The confidence I have in all sorts of corners is at a different level, a better one.

I can totally recommend them, they’re amazing.

  11. SS (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

    In short: Just amazing pedals.

Pedals feel really smooth and I really like design being very simple, but highly adjustable. Adjustment is easy without any tools and has logical steps, so I can get the pedal feel exactly how I want.

Like other review already said the jump from Fanatec V3 set is huge. I was expecting much smaller difference between these as V3s are already loadcell pedals. It feels as big of a cap as going from G29 pedals to Fanatec V3 for first time!

Like said before I really like approach Simgrade took with these. Simple maintenance free design, that rivals much more expensive pedals, while being affordable.

  12. Hugh (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Cannot overstate how happy I am with these pedals. The feel through the brake is phenomenal I can hold a car on the edge of locking so much easier. The throttle feels sublime, especially through long corners that need you to balance it just right. Adjustments are easy and wonderfully incremental there’s a very gradual change between settings on the springs. Simgrade have really made something special here and more people should experience it.

  13. Zack (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

    Great pedals, better price!
I have had my pedals for several months now, so I have taken my time to look these over. The price point on these pedals very fair and I would have been happy had I paid full price (I jumped in on the last day or so of the pre sale).
For a bit of context I have owned G29 pedals, TLC-M pedals, and HE Sprint pedals. I have been sim racing/driving around 4 years give or take.
These pedals are the best I have owned to date though not by much over the Sprints with it coming down to subjective things such as feel/preference, adjustability, mounting.
The Sprints were great and I only decided to replace them because I was struggling to find good pace on the brake with the Sprints being a bit on the low side for brake kg force on the loadcell. Originally planning to by the VRS pedals I switched plans when I saw the deal and took a chance.
The progressive feel- Adjustability on all 3 pedals are better than anything I have used by far. It is so much easier to decide you want a bit more/less pressure/throw here or there. You can easily go from a squishy street car pedal all the way to a brick wall race car pedal and everything in between with minimal effort. It really is ahead of the game, none of the other pedals I had before the are worth comparing to these. Simgrade knocked this out of the park, I cant see much on the market comparing to this even at the top level. The feel adjustability has to be one of the best designs available. (Not counting the active pedal)
The software- I see a fair few of the comments don’t seem happy with it. I have no issues with it, it may not be sexy but it gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t. Which is my preference. I would like to point out I see people mention that their is no brake force adjustment value, for some reason. There absolutely is one its just not in terms of Kg, which I guess would be harder to give that value in Kg. Or at least for it to give a Kg value and be correct in every setting.
2 stage braking- Think about it… its awesome and feels like cheating without cheating.
Setup- I have been very Impressed with the ease of use with these. Every sim/game I have tried it has been plug and play, no funny business.
Looks- I think they look pretty amazing mounted to my rig.
Driving- These drive awesome I am faster and more precise than I have ever been. Simracing is super subjective but these suit me much better than my previous sets.
Customer Support- I only had one issue which they resolved professionally and quickly despite it being a user created issue. 5 stars to their dedication to the product.
    The Dirty:
Build Quality- Cheaper products tend to be made with light cheaper materials. I do not know the quality of the metal, but it is a bit on the thinner side. I had an issue with the side support and now I will not use one. Simgrade hooked it up and helped me with the issue even though it was my fault. The pedals are perfect all is well! The side support was delightful to use but it bent from friends using them incorrectly “pressing on the side support instead of the pedals.” (Pro tip: always make guests drive in socks only)
Outside of this one isolated issue from improper use, I have had no issues. Honestly I don’t take any issue with the build quality, for the price point these are amazing.
Physical adjustability- These don’t really have much. The pedal faces can move up and down and the pedals can be angled back a few degrees. In this area the Sprints are far better. But if you have an aluminum profile rig then you can adjust the rig making those adjustments pointless, but still its a con worth mentioning.
Lastly I wish these guys had a discord or something, it would be cool to be able to share pedal profiles and see how other people are adjusting their pedals game to game like how VRS or others have community discord channels.
    Would I recommend them:
Yes, absolutely! In my opinion these are what people should be buying at the mid tier level, the price is good and the feel is top notch. I have always felt my pedals were holding me back until I got these.

  14. Stefán Freyr (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Had these for a few months already and I’m in love with them. Easy setup, easy to adjust and customizable stiffness options to mention a few things. The brakes are just perfect!

I don’t see myself changing pedals anytime in the future, if at all.

  15. Tyler (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Excellent pedals and great customer service.
Owned these pedals for around 6 months now so have hundreds of hours of experience. The feel of both pedals (throttle and brake) is fantastic and I’m personally a big fan of how stiff you can get the throttle when in the back position. Using a loadcell on this pedal is great for accuracy and consistency over time and has been zero sign of wear at all.
The progression and slight dual-stageness of the brake pedal is also excellent – you can consistently hit the same pressure even once the pedal stops moving. Unfortunately, after 5 months the screws holding in the loadcell snapped causing the loadcell position to drop and become unusable. However, the customer sercive was fantastic and the issue was resolved within 9 days of raising the query. This includes them shipping the replacement parts promptly and for free. This is the only reason I have docked a star but they are brilliant pedals!

  16. Eric Clubb (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Best pedals i have used by far. small and strong. only took 5 days to get these and i am in the states. Emailed with a question and had an answer back right away. The Price, build, and feel is perfect!

  17. Prajiturel (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Ordered the VX-Pros as an upgrade from the CSL Elites and it’s night and day difference.

The hardness of the pedals was a HUGE change for me, but I understand it is to be expected when switching to load cells. I started with the least hard setting on the brake, which seemed like kicking a wall and have since actually switch to the second (default position) now and it feels great!
The throttle feels lovely, with the option to have it rather hard to press as well, which i grew to really like as I find it gives me the most modulation.

There is no flex in the pedals, they seem really well built and I love using them so far.

Mounting them was straight forward, the software is not the prettiest, but definitely does it’s job and is fully functional.

I don’t have a comparison as these are my first load cell pedals, but I am really over the moon with how they feel, the sturdiness, the look and the price.

  18. Jarno Toivonen (varmistettu kirjoittaja)

Very robust and easily adjustable pedals! Huge step up coming from Fanatec V3 pedals.
Many different setup choices gives user large range of adjustability for different games and usecases.
Really happy with these, just make sure the attacment/pedal plate is rigid enough! You can make the brake very stiff If needed!
